The brief for this single storey cream brick Art Deco house was for an extensive alterations and additions, initially as at the same level.  However, the owners were later convinced and excited about a two storey extension that preserved a valuable backyard for a future pool. They were also pleased with the way we were able to seamlessly transform their modest 1940s brick veneer house into what appears to be a new two storey house, thus following the general redevelopment theme of the street.
